The proposed In-N-Out Burger slated for 22517 Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills at the current Ventura West Car Wash site was voted out by the Woodland Hills Warner Center Neighborhood Council, along Councilman Bob Blumenfield’s office and City Planning. A full-service restaurant was approved; however, the drive-thru window was denied, and its hours of operation were capped at 11:00 pm when all other area locations in the chain are open until 1:00 am. The fact that the company relies heavily on both a drive-thru and late-night business to operate profitably, the chance of this coming to fruition appears doubtful at this juncture. There was considerable opposition claiming that the traffic, and ingress and egress would pose problematic for the local residents.
