Rumors have surged that Amazon will be opening a new concept grocery store in Warner Center right next door to the under construction mixed-used The Q Topanga. While the company has not confirmed this, neighboring tenants of the 33,574 square-foot building, where Toys-R-Us operated for decades, claim this is true. The city has already filed a change of use from retail to supermarket, and it has been confirmed by the City that a “generic market” will occupy the space. Renderings featuring a modern gray and glass facade have been released and the super-store is rumored to open before the end of the year.
